Welcome to another edition of Around The Ring. I know, it has been awhile yet again, I swear time just flies by!! In all honesty, my wife is making beaded jewelry and I made an online store for her on her website. If anyone is interested, you can check it out at: http://www.buzzbeading.com

Here are the results from the last Brainbuster. You can find the answer at the bottom above the new Brainbuster. Here are the first 10 people that got it right:

The NightHawk, Stacy Small, Mike "Ratdog" Kapilow, Nick From Texas, Michael Carman, John from Queens New York, Jeff Bredeson, Scott Alden, Jeffrey Boman, Mike Stidham.

Congrats to all of the above and to everyone who got the right answer!!

There has been a lot going on, so lets get to the meat and potatoes!!

Firstly, I would like to start off with some sad news that some of you already know about...The passing of the legendary Fabulous Moolah. The Fabulous Moolah, real name Lillian Ellison, passed away at her home in Columbia SC on Friday. She was 84. Moolah wrestled for some 50 years and held the Womens Title four times. She was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 1995. Along with her close friend, Mae Young, ran a wrestling school. At this time no cause of death has been determined. I would like to express my deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of Lillian "The Fabulous Moolah" Ellison. You will be missed.

In a real Surprise, Harry Smith who had just made his on television debut with WWE has been suspended already due to a Wellness program violation. This is not the way you want to start your career, Harry. I was rather impressed by Harry Smith and the use of his father, Davey Boy Smiths finisher, The Running Powerslam! Wise up kid!! You don't want to end up like Teddy Hart and not have a job with WWE!!

I hope everyone had a very good and safe Halloween. Mine was worth every second! I wish I had taped the show. I am really into shows on the paranormal and ghosts, so as you can imagine I watch Ghost Hunters on Sci-Fi Channel(Shameless plug??) on Wednesday nights. Well this year the show actually was on Halloween and was a live 6 hour investigation at the Waverly Sanitarium located near Louisville Kentucky. Last year they investigated The Stanley Hotel which was the inspiration for Steven Kings "The Shining". They had CM Punk with them last year. This year however, Ghost Hunters special guest was ECW's Elijah Burke. I have to say Elijah did quite well until about the last half hour or less of the show.

Elijah was standing around with TAPS members Jason Hawes, Grant Wilson and a female member. They were talking when all of a sudden, Elijah's head whipped around and then, with arms in the air, he booked it down the hallway, dropping his cellphone in the process!! They had to chase Elijah down and bring him back. Burke could not get out a coherent sentence to save his life. The TAPS group gave Burke some good natured ribbing with one of them being something to the effect of..."you ran away down a dark hallway...ALONE!!" You can see the clip on my site which I found thanks to YouTube!! Go to http://www.aroundthering.com and in the center column of the main page, it will be in the news column. It is so worth it to see a big bad wrestler scream like a little b***h and run away!!

I remembered to watch TNA the other night and I have to say that everytime I watch, it is getting better. They have this monster of a woman named Awesome Kong! She reminds me of a female version of Big Daddy V...Viscera. She is one scary and powerful mammoth!! Keep up the great work TNA and I promise to watch more!

And as quickly as Junior Fatu(aka Rikishi) got to TNA, he is gone. From what I have heard, TNA and Junior Fatu couldnt reach a contract agreement and Fatu didn't show up for a TV taping. I would have LOVED to have seen a series of matches between Junior Fatu and Samoa Joe!!

As for WWE...what can I say?? Nothing really. The funniest thing was seeing the Coach vs Foley match with Hornswoggle as the special guest ref on Smackdown. I really enjoy Hornswoggle.

Matt Hardy is looking like hell since the accident with Mysterio's knee brace or whatever it was. Some 35 stitches and now his eye is all swollen. I wonder how long it will be before Matt gets his shot at MVP's US Title. I hate to say this, but I am actually starting to enjoy MVP. I think if he keeps up the way he is, he will be a real contender in the next year or so for either the WWE title or the World title. I think it was a great move pairing up Hardy and MVP as they seem to work well off of each other.

Former WWE Cryme Tyme Member Shad Gaspard is now taking bookings. You can check him out at his Myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/bkbeast13.

I was rather upset to hear about Divari being released from WWE. I don't think he got a fair shake and from what I heard from others was how awesome Divari was on the Indy curcuit. But he never seemed to get a chance to showcase his talents for WWE. That goes back to my theory that WWE dumbs down their wrestlers to fit their product. But that's a whole other column!!

Oh and I just remembered. Colin Vassallo reported about the Andre The Giant movie earlier this week. I checked out the trailer for this movie...Andre The Heart Of The Giant. I have to say that I was severely P.O.'ed at this. Too me it looked like a bunch of teens had nothing better to do and made their own low budget flick. I see this as a slap in the face to Andre's memory. As one person said, they made Andre look anorexic!! You can view the trailer at my site under the news headlines on my main page!

Don't forget to vote on the polls on the main page too!!!

Now onto the Brainbuster...

***The Last Brainbuster***

Q: Born In Montreal, what former wrestlers favorite "foreign object" was a fork?

A: Abdullah The Butcher

***This Weeks Brainbuster***
(Be sure to send all answers and/or comments to ericknudsen@aroundthering.com. Remember to include your name.)

Q: This Canadian wrestler started his pro career at the age of 16.
He wrestled for the AWA in the early to mid 70's and had a 5 year stint in the NWA from 1975 to 1980. He came to the then WWF and was one of the top heels of all time. He is a former US, Intercontinental and tag team title holder. He is a real wild man. Who is this man?

Well thats it for me. Thank you for joining me for this edition of Around The Ring. I am Eric, that's my opinion and I am standing by it!!
