Nick “Big Bully” Busick passes away at age 63

Former wrestling star Nick Busick, known for his Big Bully Busick gimmick in WWE, passed away at the age of 63.

In 2015, Busick was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and two years later he was then diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent neurosurgery. As if two weren’t enough, this year Busick was also diagnosed with cancer of the cerebrospinal fluid and entered hospice care in Weirton, West Virginia where he ultimately passed away. 10 years before diagnosed with cancer, Busick suffered a cardiac arrest while he was exercising and was brought back to life thanks to a defibrillator.

Busick made his wrestling debut in 1977 and joined the WWF in 1989. He had previously wrestled in WWWF when the company came to the Pittsburgh area and served as enhancement talent. He left the WWF in 1991.

The 63-year-old was also a police officer.
