Linda McMahon to take senior position in group to help re-elect Donald Trump in 2020

Linda McMahon’s departure from the Small Business Administration was made official yesterday by President Donald Trump, but McMahon’s journey with Trump is not over. Far from it.

McMahon will be the chair of the pro-Trump super PAC America First Action to help him get re-elected in 2020. Calling her a “superstar,” Trump said, “The fact is that I’ve known her for a long time. I knew she was good but I didn’t know she was that good. She has been one of our all-time favorites.” Trump made these comments to the press as he sat alongside McMahon from Mar-a-Lago in Florida according to CNN.

“She’ll be leaving. She’s going to go help us with a very, very important year and a half we have coming up,” he said. “The re-election as they call it.” Her last day as the Administrator of the SBA is April 12.

Linda is one of the highest-ranking women in government and forms part of Trump’s cabinet. She is one of the few cabinet members who largely stayed out of the limelight and scandals and sources say that the President loves working with her. Due to her close relationship with Trump, she was chosen to take the senior role at America First, helping with fundraising efforts.
