Jimmy Del Ray of The Heavenly Bodies passes away

Former WWE, ECW, and WCW wrestler Jimmy Del Ray passed away at the age of 52 two days ago after an apparent heart attack.

Del Ray is probably best known for his time as one half of the Heavenly Brothers with Tom Prichard, a team which made its WWE debut in August 1993. While they never won a WWE title, the duo defeated The Rock ’n’ Roll Express for the SMW Tag Team titles at the 1993 Survivor Series.

Del Ray moved to ECW with his tag team partner in 1995 as part of Raven’s Nest and a year later he joined WCW as Jimmy Graffitti. He spent a year in WCW and had a to retire after a knee injury.
