Hulk Hogan loses round one in legal battle against Gawker

The New York Daily News is reporting that Hulk Hogan lost round one in his fight against Gawker.com after a judge denied the former wrestling champ’s request for a temporary restraining order which would have removed his one minute excerpt of his sex tape from the website.

“Plaintiff has failed to show that immediate and irreparable injury, loss, or damage will result before Defendants can be heard in opposition,” U.S. District Judge James Whittemore wrote in his ruling.

A hearing has been set for November 8 in Tampa, Florida.
