Former WWE head of security Jim Dotson passes away

Former WWE head of security Jim Dotson passed away last week on December 10 at the age of 49. He is mostly remembered during the Attitude Era, often wearing a hat.

A GoFundMe.com campaign says that Jim spent years dealing with health issues including a serious incurable eye disease which kept him from working over the past several years. Dotson had no life or health insurance and most of his time was spent volunteering handicapped people and taking care of his elderly mother who is unable to cover any expenses. The campaign is hoping to raise $4,000 in 30 days but it’s already at over $2,000 in just 3 days.

Funeral service will be held tomorrow, December 17. Visitation will be from Noon to 2PM at Madison Church of Christ, in Madison, Tennessee. Burial. The burial will happen at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Goodlettsville, Tennessee following the service.

Family is asking that in lieu of flowers fans should make a donation at the GoFundMe campaign page which can be found at https://www.gofundme.com/84emh3cs.
