Dwayne Johnson’s San Andreas takes second spot in box office chart

Dwayne Johnson lost the number one spot in the box office after just one week as Melissa McCarthy’s Spy movie topped the weekend chart with an estimated $30 million.

San Andreas, featuring the former WWE champion The Rock, is estimated for second place with around $26 million, sending its domestic total to around $92 million in just two weeks. The movie will surpass its domestic $100 million mark in the next week.

So far the movie has a worldwide box office revenue of $152 million although this week’s numbers from overseas are not factored in yet.

San Andreas had a budget of $110 million.
