CM Punk channels his heel character at UFC 203 weigh-in faceoff

CM Punk showed his first “heel” tactic during the public weigh-in yesterday evening when he refused to shake his opponent’s hand after coming off the scale.

Punk, who weighed in at 170lbs, gave Mickey Gall a blank stare when they came face to face and Gall had to pull back his hand shake after three seconds when it became apparent that Punk was not going to return the gesture. As the two faced each other, UFC President Dana White laughed in the background as Gall kept talking smack to Punk. As Gall turned away, Punk got fired up and addressed the crowd, turning around smiling and shaking Dana White’s hand before going off the stage.

Punk got a good ovation from the crowd when he came out and the crowd “ooh’ed!” when he refused to shake Gall’s hand. You can see the video below.
