Bret Hart undergoing surgery to remove prostate cancer today

WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hit Man” Hart is undergoing surgery today to hopefully remove the prostate cancer that he was diagnosed with. Hart announced that he is battling cancer on February 1.

“With hesitation and fear, I openly declare myself in my fight against prostate cancer. In the next few days, I will undergo surgery with the hope of defeating this nemesis once and for all,” Hart wrote in a post on his social media accounts.

Calling it his toughest battle to date, Hart has vowed to win this battle or die trying. A few words of encouragement came from one of his former rivals, WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, who wished him luck. “Another challenge for @BretHart, but ultimately victory,” McMahon wrote on Twitter.

From all of us here at Wrestling-Online.com, we wish the Excellence of Execution a speedy recovery and fingers crossed for the best possible outcome!
