Al Snow debuts for TNA at Final Resolution PPV

Postby newswire on 12-08-2008 03:10 PM

- Prior to yesterday's TNA Final Resolution pay-per-view, the company was hyping that a former World champion and a former tag team partner of Mick Foley will be appearing on the show. That man ended up being Al Snow, who is not a former World champion himself but did hold the WWE tag team titles once with Mick Foley's alter ego, Mankind. Snow - a longtime WWE employee - was released from his contract when the company ceased all affiliations with Ohio Valley Wrestling where he served as a trainer. Snow made his TNA debut yesterday by distracting Foley and helping Kurt Angle defeat Rhino.

Actually, Al Snow was the World Heavyweight Champion of JAPW (Jersey All Pro Wreslting)in Northern New Jersey. He lost the belt to Jerry Lawler in the only show that I went to. OK, not the biggest title, but still a World Title. A lot of ROHers, and (Real)ECWers have been on the JAPW circuit.

He is dedicated to professional wrestling. He is a champion in my eyes because he is dedicated to wrestling and does a lot for wrestling. He is not the best in anything, but he is very good at many aspects of wrestling. It will be nice to see him back on TV.
My Grandson and I - He is a dedicated John Cena fan and wants to be big and strong like John Cena

Yeah. He didn't have to be termed as a former "World Champion", he is Al Snow and has done a lot for wrestling. That can't be measured by title reigns.

I don't think the JAPW Championship is considered a world-title. It is too regional.

Regional or not, if David Arquette can be a world champion, then Al Snow can legitimately be called champion.
